Gal Gadot Cast as Wonder Woman in Batman vs. Superman

gal-gadot-wonder-woman-headerI’m not sure that there’s a more impossible role in the world of film to cast than Wonder Woman. Seeing as she is an Amazonian princess who is tall, muscular and attractive, there aren’t many actresses that can fit the bill who are good actresses. However, Zack Snyder is giving Wonder Woman a go on the big screen and has cast Gal Gadot in the role of Wonder Woman/Diana Prince.

Doctor Who: The Day of The Doctor Review

doctor-who-the-day-of-the-doctor-headerOver the course of 50 years, Doctor Who has come a long way from an old man travelling around in a plain-looking police box in a children’s educational show. Now, it’s a massive worldwide phenomenon that has skyrocketed in popularity since the series was revived from cancellation in 2005.

The 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, a show that was effectively dead for sixteen years, has garnered so much attention that it may be an event that rivals the World Cup final or Super Bowl when all the viewers are counted up. Could The Day of The Doctor live up to the expectations and hype of one of the most hotly anticipated TV events of the year?

Haven: The Trouble with Troubles Review

haven-bannerIf you’re a fan of both Haven and the original Star Trek, you might have been in your glory watching this week’s episode. See, they didn’t forget about Eight.

Haven: William Review

haven-text-headerJust when you thought that things in Haven couldn’t change any more over the course of one hour, we have another one that results in us questioning almost everything that we thought that we knew heading into this episode. I guess that makes it just another week in coastal Maine.

How Much Would Thor’s Castle Cost?

Sure, Thor might be a Norse demigod and not live on Earth but that doesn’t mean that he has one cool pad. (People still say stuff like that, right?) Since Thor: The Dark World opens in theatres this weekend, our friends at Movato thought that now would be a good time to look at the value of Thor’s Castle. I’d reckon that’s where most of the movie’s budget went.

Haven: Crush Review

haven-headerAfter a second consecutive episode in which everything seemed to change, this week continued our road to the season finale. While the last couple of weeks were a bit more action packed, this week’s episode slowed things down so we could focus on the relationships of the various characters. Well, mostly everyone who isn’t Audrey.

The Force is with These Star Wars Bloopers

Better than normal bloopers are the long-lost bloopers of a much-loved film. Recently, some old Star Wars bloopers surfaced on YouTube which shows that not everything went smoothly a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. And we also get to see why stormtroopers struggle so much with their job. Not only can they not see anything in that helmet but they can barely stand up straight.
