Game of Thrones: Blood of My Blood Review
Last week, everybody was left crying at the conclusion of Game of Thrones. This week, there was far less crying and even a few exciting, fist-pumping moments that were balanced out by some pretty intriguing twists. Sadly, no Littlefinger to bring us those plot twists. Westeros’s other resident master schemer did, though.

Motorsport Manager Review: Checkered Flag
This September, Motorsport Manager is coming to Steam as a rather impressive looking and much enhanced port. It’ll be the same style of game at its core but will turn the graphics up to 11 and make some aspects of the simulation much more realistic including production of parts, rules charges, calendar changes and more. While the underpinnings of Motorsport Manager won’t change, a lot of it will be upgraded from the mobile game.
But what about that mobile game? I’ve been playing it for a while now and while it’s not quite Football Manager levels of complex, it’s certainly the best management game for motorsport fans I’ve ever played.

Reports Say the “Next-Gen” Xbox One Will Be Four Times as Powerful as Current Model
Much like Sony is working on a not insignificant upgrade to the PlayStation 4, it has been something of an open secret that Microsoft is working on an upgraded version of the Xbox One. What wasn’t known until this week was how much of an upgrade the next Xbox One would be but reports from Kotaku and Polygon suggest that the next Xbox, codenamed Scorpio, won’t just be a minor improvement to balance power with the PlayStation but blow it and the current Xbox One out of the water.

RBI Baseball 16 Review: Texas Leaguer
While it’s one of the big four sports, baseball fans have gotten a pretty raw deal when it comes to video games. For the last three years, there hasn’t been a triple-A multi-platform baseball game. Since 2K let their MLB license expire, the only triple-A baseball game has been Sony’s MLB: The Show series. Over the last couple of years, Major League Baseball has taken it upon themselves to try to fill the gap in the market by publishing their own multi-platform baseball game with a revival of the classic baseball franchise RBI Baseball.

Behind the Scenes of Game of Thrones: The Door’s Final Scene
Hopefully you’ve watched this week’s episode of Game of Thrones and read the review because it’s time to look at the final scene. Game of Thrones is known for these epic setpieces that make it one of the most amazing and most expensive shows on television. Even a little ten minute ending scene is a massive undertaking for the show. HBO’s cameras went behind the scenes to show us what went into making the final scene of this week’s episode, The Door.

Game of Thrones: The Door Review
I hope that you weren’t too excited by how things played out last week because all of your hopes for happy moments this week were dashed. Instead, this fifth episode of the season saw normal service resume for Game of Thrones. I’m not sure everyone will be happy about that but damned if it doesn’t keep you hooked right ’til the very end.

Report Suggests that ESPN and Riot Games are in Talks for LCS TV Broadcast Deal
With the explosion in popularity of eSports viewership worldwide, people have been wondering if eSports will make the jump to TV. We’ve seen ESPN take an interest in major eSports competitions of late with broadcasts of The International and Heroes of the Dorm on ESPN2 with the League of Legends World Championship streamed on ESPN3 along with a newly-founded eSports news division.
Now, a report from PVP Live suggests that ESPN’s presence in the eSports community could expand. They’re reporting that Riot Games and ESPN have been talking about a TV broadcast deal for LCS.

A Lot of People Played the Overwatch Beta
Just ahead of tomorrow’s release of Overwatch, Blizzard compiled some of the key statistics from their recent open beta. Just when I was going to suggest that Blizzard burned out the hype for Overwatch by keeping the beta limited to a very small group of influencers over a very long period of time, it turns out that people were very excited to get a piece of Blizzard’s upcoming first person shooter. In fact, almost 10 million people got a taste of Overwatch during the open beta.

The Walking Dead: Michonne – Episode Three Review: We Deserve Better
After a short couple of months, Telltale’s The Walking Dead: Michonne miniseries reaches its conclusion with Episode Three: What We Deserve. If you’ve read reviews of or played the first two episodes, you would know that Telltale is really struggling to capture the essence of one of The Walking Dead’s trademark characters. That’s still apparent in the final third of TWD: Michonne. To use an in-universe metaphor: It’s stumbling home like it’s a walker.

Game of Thrones: Book of the Stranger Review
We’re so used to terrible moments of soul-crushing horror moments in Game of Thrones that happy moments are so few and far between that I’m not sure I remember the last happy moment that this show had. This week, though, we finally got some happy moments. Clearly, George didn’t write this episode. Granted, he could have since it was a damn good episode.
