et geekera is a geek culture and interests blog written by geeks and for geeks.
There are many people who claim to be “nerds” but have no appreciation for what that actually means. Many people look at being a nerd as the new hip thing. Corporations and celebrities looking to make money look at nerds as an easy market to pluck money from.
At et geekera, we are taking the word “geek” back for the geeks. We aren’t geeks in name only. We have a passion for what we write about and that translates to what you read here.
Join us as the staff revels in their inner geek and bring you the latest news, videos and insight about geek culture. et geekera is more than a geek blog. It’s a journey of knowledge and self-discovery as we re-discover our own inner geeks and help you find yours as well.

I’m so glad you make the distinction between “geek” and “nerd.” Despite what companies are trying to do, they are not the same.
Oh, and I love your tagline. “You geek or you die.” Wish I’d thought of it first. 🙂
