Fist Puncher Impressions: A Punch to the Face

fist-puncher-box-artNormally I review games but sometimes a game just beats me down so badly that I can’t get any further and just can’t compel myself to fight with the game any longer. So rather than call this look at indie brawler Fist Puncher a review, I’ll just call it impressions.

xcom-enemy-unknown-ios-iconI thought that I wouldn’t have to do a review roundup for the iOS port of 2012 hit XCOM: Enemy Unknown but it turns out that it was pretty spectacular, especially when compared to the standard iOS gaming fare. Maybe, just maybe, there’s a chance that iOS devices can be used for serious gaming rather than just endless runners and Angry Birds.

Well, a new sci-fi currency converter can convert your real world money into the currency of your favourite sci-fi universe.

Samuel L. Jackson Talks About His Purple Lightsaber

Samuel L. Jackson was recently on the Graham Norton Show, presumably to promote the upcoming IndyCar-ish movie Turbo, but, naturally, talk turned to his turn as a Jedi in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. This included Sam talking about how Mace Windu’s lightsaber ended up purple and the special inscription on the lightsaber hilt that he has at home.
