Star Wars: The Force Awakens Tickets to Go on Sale Tonight after New Trailer Reveal
If you’re a Star Wars fan and onboard the hype train for Episode VII – The Force Awakens, today is the big day. After revealing the official poster, the folks at StarWars.com announced that the new trailer for The Force Awakens will launch during Monday Night Football tonight and tickets will go on sale today.

I’ve never heard of Star Wars Celebration but it’s a semi-regular convention and fan event held by LucasFilm with the first three Celebrations coinciding with the release of the prequel movies. Naturally, they held one ahead of this December’s release of Episode VII – The Force Awakens.
The highlight of this year’s Star Wars Celebration was the release of the second trailer for The Force Awakens.

Remember when you were excited for a new Star Wars trilogy to continue the story beyond what was already in the Expanded Universe. Noted Star Wars fan J.J. Abrams was directing. Oscar-winner Michael Arndt was tabbed to write the script. Everyone and their mother was meeting with Abrams. Some of the top behind the camera in Hollywood were onboard, including John Williams and Ben Burtt.
Now, the latest rumours about Episode VII are a little less promising. Nothing is confirmed or set in stone but rumours that indicate retconning established Star Wars canon concerns me.

Star Wars: Episode VII On-Track to Start Shooting in 2014
Bad Robot co-founder and Star Wars: Episode VII producer, Byran Burk, has spilled the beans about some of the plans for Episode VII. He’s not talking about the plot, characters or actors in the movie though. He’s strictly talking about logistics and it looks like things are still on track for a 2015 release.
Kirk Needs a Bigger Ship in the Latest Star Trek Into Darkness Trailer
The third Star Trek Into Darkness trailer brings us a little less Cumberbatch and a lot more Kirk as we finally get to see a bit more of what the crew of the Enterprise is up against.
In the last trailer, Cumberbatch came off as smarter and more charismatic than Kirk. Now, Cumberbatch comes off as a bit crazier and much scarier thanks to his massive ship with epic armaments. Kirk looks to be in over his head and has gotten his ship in and crew into some pretty deep shit.
Star Trek Into Darkness is hits theatres on May 17th.
The New Star Trek Into Darkness Trailer Features More Cumberbatch, Plot
We’ve gotten plenty of trailers for this summer’s reboot sequel Star Trek Into Darkness but, for the first time, we have some clues as to the plot of the movie.
The newly released international trailer for Into Darkness gives a bit more insight into Benedict Cumberbatch’s still nameless character and how Kirk and the Enterprise get involved.
There is No Conflict: Star Trek Director J.J. Abrams to Helm Star Wars Episode VII
Despite previously saying that he declined any involvement in the next Star Wars trilogy, reports say that J.J. Abrams will add the title of director of the first movie of the new Star Wars trilogy to director of the rebooted Star Trek franchise.
In December, Abrams told Empire Magazine that there were some early discussions but he didn’t go forward with discussions over directing one of the upcoming movies because of his loyalty to Star Wars. Because of the friendly rivalry between Star Trek and Star Wars fans, it’s interesting that one director would helm both franchises. Read the rest of this entry
