Because there wasn’t much news this weekend, here’s the teaser trailer for Season Three of Sherlock. It doesn’t tell us anything new but all your favourites are in it so I’d imagine that you’d be kinda interested to see it if you haven’t watched it a couple of dozen times already.

Comic Book Pull List for August 7, 2013
This week’s recommendations includes a superstar with a new miniseries. Well, unless you’re a Superman fan because I’m fairly certain that Frank Miller isn’t a big fan of Supes. At least, that’s my impression from that Batman miniseries he did a while back. Anyway, Frank Miller is back with Robocop: Last Stand which should be a must buy for Robocop fans.
From the big two, we have a pair of offerings. Avengers A.I. #2 is out this week which should interest people who don’t know what to expect from the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron movie. Meanwhile, DC, in conjunction with Vertigo, launch the rather unique looking Trillium miniseries in Trillium #1.
Avatar to Get Three Sequels Instead of Two Because Money
I kind of wondered whether stretching stories to make more movies and, therefore, money would become a thing in Hollywood after The Hobbit was stretched from two to three movies. Well, it looks like James Cameron and 20th Century Fox have taken notice. The Avatar trilogy has been expanded to an Avatar quadrilogy as the two planned sequels will now be three sequels.

In response to an ongoing controversy in Britain involving the targeted abuse of freelance journalist and activist Caroline Criado-Perez on Twitter, the social media website announced an update in their abuse reporting setup.
Twitter is going to remove the current abuse reporting form and replace it with a one-click “report abuse” button and will increase the number of staffers dedicated to investigated abuse reports on the website.

The third time was the charm for Saints Row IV and developer Volition. New Star Wars: Battlefront Coming Summer 2015
Can’t wait to get your hands of the upcoming EA Star Wars games? Well, I would advise you not to hold your breath because we’re still a ways out from seeing them.
During their 1st quarter earnings call, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen revealed that the first of EA’s Star Wars games under the current licensing agreement will be the new Battlefront. Unfortunately, we shouldn’t expect it until summer of 2015 which means another two years of waiting for a new Star Wars game.
In his announcement, Jorgensen noted that they were timing the release of Battlefront around the planned release of Episode VII. While the teaser trailer was decidedly original trilogy inspired, it’s entirely possible that this could mean that the new Battlefront could tie into the new trilogy. Even if it’s DICE making the game, the prospect of a movie tie-in game worries me. I don’t think I need to tell you why.
