Who doesn’t love ska? It’s really an underappreciated musical genre. That’s probably why I absolutely love this cover of the Game of Thrones theme song by the Pannonia Allstars Ska Orchestra. Winter is coming.

Check Out This Awesome Fan-Made Mass Effect Movie Trailer
YouTube user vendo233 undertook a big task in making his own trailer for the planned Mass Effect movie. For these types of fan-made trailers, we usually see video and audio from the games edited together to hype the whole Reaper invasion story. Vendo233 took it several steps further. Not only does he use clips and audio from the games but he edits them to give them a big budget shine, splices in clips from other movies and even does some of his own CGI work to put together an epic trailer.
Are You Ready for More Madness in Hotline Miami 2?
Dennaton Games is back with more brutal homicidal mayhem in Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number. The game follows up on the fallout from the first game with the stories of multiple characters whose paths intersect in an increasingly bloody and violent way.
No release date has been set but Dennaton is targeting a 2013 release.
Lewis Black is Worried About Future Technology
If there’s something happening in the news, chances are that Lewis Black has a smart, and likely angry, take on what’s happening. That includes what’s happening with the Xbox One’s Kinect. Microsoft might say it’s not a privacy concern but Lewis isn’t sold.
Conan Reviews Injustice and Unveils Zod DLC
For the casual gamer, there may not be a better or more relevant reviewer than Conan O’Brien. I’m serious. Watch his Resident Evil 6 or Tomb Raider reviews and you’ll find someone who is quite capable of pointing out some unintended faults in games that the core gamer just takes for granted.
Anyway, Conan and trusty nerd assistant Aaron Blair took a look at the recently released Injustice: Gods Among Us and unveils the new Zod DLC. He also backs me in saying Superman could beat Batman in a fight. Like that’s still a question.
Everything Wrong With Superman Returns
Good news, Man of Steel premieres tomorrow! Better news, no matter what happens, there’s no way that it can be a worse Superman movie than Superman Returns. In case you’ve forgotten how bad that movie was, here’s everything that was wrong with Superman Returns in six minutes (or less).
Survive, if you can, The Walking Dead: 400 Days
Telltale Games has some more zombie survival action from their award-winning epic The Walking Dead: Season One in the upcoming DLC 400 Days. The DLC covers the stories of five new characters as they try to survive the first 400 days of the zombie apocalypse. You can play these stories in any order and the decisions you make will affect the story going forward. Basically, it’s the same Telltale The Walking Dead you love with a new cast of characters. Maybe this is even a teaser for Season Two? Probably not. They’ll probably all end up dead.
The Walking Dead: 400 Days will be available this summer for all the same platforms as The Walking Dead: Season One with the addition of PlayStation Vita which will be getting its own port of the game complete with 400 Days.
Inside Game of Thrones’ “The Rains of Castamere”
We’ve already looked at video of people reacting to the biggest moment of George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Fire and Ice. Now, we get to look at last week’s episode of Game of Thrones through the eye of the producers of the hit HBO show. They’re very modest about the whole thing but people were putting Game of Thrones on the shortlist of great shows of all-time. That talk is only going to get louder after last week’s episode.
Naturally, this video has spoilers for folks who haven’t read the books or watched last week’s episode.
Journey in Real-Life Might Not End Well
Journey was my favourite game of 2012 and easily the best indie game of the year. It’s also been a reasonably popular game for cosplayers. However, if you’re planning to cosplay Journey, you might not want to do it outside of a convention.
