Extra Life Raises $6.3 Million for Charity

extra-life-2015-bannerFor 24 hours starting on the morning of November 7th, gamers gathered online to raise money for charity. The annual Extra Life fundraiser sees gamers do a 24-hour marathon gaming stream to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. This year, the live streaming marathons raised $6,360,566 in donations.

This weekend’s total donations of $6.3 million topped last year’s record of $5.4 million raised. According to Extra Life, this year, the total cumulative money raised over the history of the fundraiser crossed the $20 million mark.

Even though the annual livestreaming event is over, you can still donate to Extra Life at their website.
