Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Trailer Premieres, Gives Away Whole Movie

The latest trailer to next year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice premiered on Wednesday night. The three-minute trailer answers a lot of the questions that fans had coming into the movie including who the villain would be, why would Batman and Superman fight and how would Ben Affleck and Jesse Eisenberg manage in their new roles. So suffice to say that there are spoilers in the trailer.

The New Batman v Superman Trailer Looks Like Anything but a Lawsuit

While I can question the thinking at Warner Bros over not doing a Man of Steel sequel before doing a Justice League movie, naming this movie in the same style as a legal proceeding and seemingly borrowing from Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns, the fact of the matter is that this is the hand that DC Comics and Superman fans are being dealt.

In the neverending quest to beat Marvel at the box office, DC Comics had their new trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice leaked early, just like Avengers: Age of Ultron. We have the officially released trailer and analysis after the jump.

Get Your First Look at Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman

As you’d expect, Warner Bros. and DC gave us a little treat from the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice at their Comic Con panel. In addition to showing a short clip and parading the principal heroes out on stage, we also got our first look at Gal Gadot in her Wonder Woman armour.

Man of Steel 2 Now Called “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”

batman-v-superman-dawn-of-justice-logoJust when you thought that Superman was back in a big way with last year’s blockbuster Man of Steel, DC Comics and Warner Brothers want to remind you who is on top of the DC food chain.

The sequel to the Superman reboot is not only not a Superman-focused movie but Superman doesn’t even get top billing. The Man of Steel sequel is now officially known as “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”
