He might be Mario’s less popular and less heralded brother but he still has a very nice place to live. While Mario, presumably, gets to crash at Princess Peach’s $950 million castle, Luigi has his own pretty cool and very expensive mansion that he lives in. Well, when he clears the ghosts out of there, he can live in there.
Steam Summer Sale: July 20, 2013
We’ve reached the final weekend of the 2013 edition of the Steam Summer Sale and there are still some good deals to be had.
For example I liked Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed as a kart racing game. If you want a good karting game for the PC, you could do far worse that SASRT (even if the acronym is terrible). Also, the KOTOR games are on sale. Buy them. Don’t think about any issues you might have playing an older game. KOTOR is essential gaming.

Steam Summer Sale: July 19, 2013
Time is quickly running out of this year’s Steam Summer Sale and you can really tell. All the big deals are just being recycled at this point in the Daily Deals. Okay, that’s not news. At least it gives you a chance to make up for missed Flash Sales.
That’s not to say that there aren’t some good deals for the next 48 hours.
Will The Xbox One Be Your Overly Attached Girlfriend?
Microsoft might have gotten rid of the online check-in DRM requirements for the Xbox One but doesn’t mean that it isn’t still watching you. We’ve all read that it’s built around advertising with the Kinect integral to making that advertising work better for advertisers. The Kinect always watching and Microsoft’s compliance in giving data to the NSA doesn’t make me feel better about it.
So is the Xbox One going to be like a clingy girlfriend? The folks at Kensington make that case in a handy infographic.
Firefly Online is Coming in 2014… To Mobile Devices
Remember Firefly Universe Online, the Fox authorized MMO based in the Firefly Universe? That’s not what’s coming in 2014. Instead, Fox announced at Comic Con that Firefly would be coming to the video game verse with Firefly Online.
It’s not a full blown MMO, however. It’s called a “social online role-playing game” that is going to be published for iOS and Android devices. Yes, we’re getting a Firefly mobile game. Is it just me or does every force in the verse work against us?
Steam Summer Sale: July 18, 2013
We’re reaching the home stretch of the Steam Summer Sale. I haven’t reached three digits spending yet but I think that Steam is going to make a late push for my money.
By the way, I was right about Torchlight II being the featured sale today. I’m thinking that Skyrim will be tomorrow’s featured deal. I guess that I didn’t have to rush to get Skyrim: Legendary Edition on that recent Community Pick.
And watch out because The War Z is on sale as a Daily Deal under the name Infestation: Survivor Stories.. For the love of god, don’t buy this game.

NCAA Ends Football Licensing Agreement with EA Sports
The long-running NCAA Football franchise is coming to an end after this year’s NCAA Football 14 by EA Sports. The NCAA announced that they would allow their licensing agreement with EA Sports to expire at the end of June 2014.
However, given the structure of licensing of college schools and events, it’s entirely possible that EA Sports will have a college football next year.
