Game Trailers Roundup: December 15, 2014

After getting spoiled by all those trailers from The Game Awards in last week’s Game Trailers Roundup, we’re down a bit on the number of trailers in this week’s roundup. Still, we have seven trailers for you to watch today.

The latest from Mojang, the mobile card game Scrolls, is the big release of the week. It doesn’t lead us off. That spot goes to indie darling The Talos Principle which launched last week. We also have trailers for upcoming console games Persona 5 and #IDARB among other game trailers for you to watch.

Game Trailers Roundup: December 8, 2014

Apparently Friday’s The Game Awards was actually not terrible. After how many years of laughable VGAs and last year’s VGX (which was only redeemable by Joel McHale undermining the whole thing), it took Keighley putting his own money on the line to get something closer to a proper awards show.

Of course, this can’t be a Keighley produced award show with a whole pile of trailers and gameplay exclusive videos. While I might run the gameplay exclusives later, I do have a whole pile of trailers today. By my count, there are 13 trailers for just released, announced or upcoming games for you to watch. Chances are you will find something to watch in here.

Game Trailers Roundup for November 25, 2014

I slightly forgot about this post yesterday. I was scrambling until the last minute to write the Haven review yesterday and had to sacrifice this post in order to get a little sleep. It turns out I could have passed on that because my local city road works crew didn’t plow the roads so they were ever so slightly flooded because of rain and slush.

Anyway, we have nine trailers for you to watch today. On top of the list is a teaser for Telltale’s upcoming Game of Thrones and I’m not just doing that in hopes of getting review copy of both that and Tales from the Borderlands. In the recently released games ranks, there are trailers for LittleBigPlanet 3 and Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. And there are some pretty cool trailers for EVE and Goat Simulator.

Game Trailers Roundup for November 17, 2014

I thought that October was called Broketober for a reason. Did anyone who used that nickname this year even look at this month’s release schedule. Two Assassin’s Creeds, Halo: Master Chief Collection and WoW: Warlords of Draenor all in one week and Dragon Age: Inquisition, Far Cry 4 and next-gen GTA5 the next week. You’re more likely to go broke this month than last.

So in this week’s trailers roundup, along with this week’s three aforementioned releases, there are trailers for indie darlings This War of Mine, Never Alone, Killing Floor 2 and Tales from the Borderlands. We have a little Nintendo content with Pokemon: Alpha Sapphire / Omega Ruby and Mario Kart 8’s Rainbow Road DLC. And we also have the launch trailer for Escape Dead Island from self-described small publisher Deep Silver.

Game Trailers Roundup for November 10, 2014

Thanks to BlizzCon, this week’s Game Trailers Roundup is absolutely jam-packed with teasers, trailers and other info about your favourite and soon to be favourite Blizzard games. Overwatch, StarCraft II: Legacy of the Voice, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft and Heroes of the Storm all had new trailers unveiled at BlizzCon.

And if Blizzard isn’t your thing, you can always watch trailers for the new Dragon Age or Total War.

Game Trailers Roundup for November 3, 2014

This week will be a big money week in gaming. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is launched this week. This one will be an interesting one to watch. CoD is held up for a number of reasons as being the worst of big money triple-A gaming but this year seems to have a next-gen first focus and is the first game produced on a three-year development cycle. Will this make a difference when the reviews come out?

Also in this week’s trailer roundup is Halo 2: Anniversary for Xbox One, Natural Selection 2: Combat, Star Citizen, This War of Mine and some Ubisoft games.

Game Trailers Roundup for October 27, 2014

This week’s edition of the Game Trailers Roundup isn’t as big as last week’s but you’ll probably find something you’re interested in. That is if your interests are RPGs.

There are trailers for Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Witcher 3 and Far Cry 4 this week. If racing games are your speed, there’s a night and rain racing trailer for Project CARS and an announce trailer for Codemasters’ Toybox Turbos. And failing that, if you’re interested in multiplayer games, there’s a trailer for the new Smash Bros. and League of Legends Halloween event.

Game Trailers Roundup for October 20, 2014

Well, after missing last week’s Monday weekly post thanks to Canadian Thanksgiving, there are a lot of trailers for us to catch up on from the last two weeks and probably more that I skipped over on Reddit. In total, there are twelve trailers for you to watch.

As we near or have reached their releases, we have launch trailers for F1 2014, Dragon Age: Inquisition and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. There are also trailers for Football Manager 2015, LittleBigPlanet 3, Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. And we close with a whole host of Ubisoft trailers for Far Cry 4, both Assassin’s Creed games and The Crew (whenever that comes out).

Game Trailers Roundup for October 6, 2014

There are a couple of big releases tomorrow and I have trailers for none of them. That doesn’t make for a particularly topical game trailers roundup. But that doesn’t mean that we don’t have trailers for games you want to know more about.

Today’s roundup includes trailers for Civ: Beyond Earth, Far Cry 4, Dying Light and Dragon Age: Inquisition. If those don’t strike your fancy, you can always watch a launch trailer for Styx: Master of Shadows and a teaser for F.E.A.R. Online. Not a bad little post for watching.

Game Trailers Roundup for September 29, 2014

Once again, we have quite a few trailers for you this week. A pair of those are launch trailers. Middle-Earth: Shadows of Mordor has been getting near universal praise from critics and comes out tomorrow. Crimes & Punishments: Sherlock Holmes is our other launch trailer and that’s already been out for a few hours now.

There are a few trailers for other upcoming games. Metal Gear Solid V, CoD: Advanced Warfare, WWE 2K15 and The Witcher 3 all have new trailers. Perhaps most exciting is the announcement of United Front Games’ new game, Triad Wars. After Sleeping Dogs, I was looking forward to the next kung fu action game from Vancouver’s UFG.
