Game of Thrones: Mockingbird Review
Welcome to Game of Thrones: A show with so much plot that even the narrative-heavy, transitional episodes have all sorts of important things to talk about. Even if Tyrion didn’t move one step closer to life or death, even if nothing new happened at Castle Black, even if Arya is still only wandering through the wilderness with Sandor Clegane, enough is happening that would make you think that this little setup episode is still one of the best of the season.

Trials Fusion (PC) Review: Back From the Future
As I mentioned in the last Trials game review, this is a game that’s been around since Miniclip was one of the top sites in the world for gaming. The series has evolved since the original Trials game. It’s gone from Java to a proper standalone release.
With that change, so did the tone of the series. It went from a slightly over the top recreation of professional trials competition to a cartoony extreme sports arcade game.
Trials Fusion is the first Trials game released on next-gen consoles but despite the game being set in the future and the evolution of consoles and the evolution of the game’s graphics, Red Lynx didn’t really do much to evolve the gameplay.

Game of Thrones: The Laws of God and Men Review
The moment we’ve been waiting for since the Purple Wedding. Okay, given how trials tend to go for Tyrion and this show’s propensity for killing off lead characters, I don’t know if anyone was looking forward to how this turns out but I’d imagine we were looking forward to how it played out on-screen.
How it played out was absolutely amazingly with some Emmy-worthy performances… And with a shirtless Ramsay Snow taking care of business in the Dreadfort.

Game of Thrones: The First of His Name Review
I like when writers throw out a little surprise. For the most part, this episode was light on anything noteworthy. However, it had one massive tidbit of information that should have thrown everyone for a loop. I didn’t think that the episode would feature an almost throwaway line in the middle of the episode that would change everything that we thought we knew since episode one of the show. But if you’re going to change what we all thought for 35 episodes, this was the way to do it.

Game of Thrones: Oathkeeper Review
After last week’s very controversial episode, we had an episode that I would accuse as being set up to capitalize on said controversy by making the character at the heart of the hubbub if it wasn’t for the fact that this episode was written and filmed ages ago.
This week’s focus was on the life and times of Ser Jaime Lannister, also known as The Kingslayer and the guy who raped his sister in last week’s episode. At least he was put in some more redeeming situations this week.

FootLOL: Epic Fail League Review: This Ain’t Football
Not every football (or soccer, in North America) game is super realistic sim that allows you to take over almost every major club or player from around the world. Not every football game is even about football.
Enter the very poorly named FootLOL. FootLOL is a bit like Football Manager if Football Manager was made by someone completely out of their minds. You don’t lead your team to victory with superior tactics, player management and inspired decisions. You lead them to victory with land mines, artillery and stampeding cows.

Game of Thrones: The Breaker of Chains Review
After everything changed (again) in last week’s episode, this week’s episode of Game of Thrones was a bit more of the standard fare as we bounced from story to story. However, unless you were in the North or across the Narrow Sea, you were still talking about last week’s events. Even the internet was talking about it for the last week and the Seven Kingdoms aren’t even wired in.

When you come into a season of Game of Thrones, you know that it’s the ninth episode of the season that everything is building up to. That’s where something big happens. But what happens when the writers and producers change things up on you and make it the second, rather than the second-to-last episode that changes everything. We’re about to find out this season after The Lion and The Rose.

Goat Simulator Review: G.O.A.T.Y.
Is a comedy game that’s openly considered to be a joke by its own developer and much of the gaming press something that’s a meta joke that also happens to be a game or just a joke that isn’t worth the time and money to buy and play it?
If you’ve read other reviews of Goat Simulator, that’s what they all come down to, whether the reviewer says so or not. Should a game that the developer says is a comparative waste of money be evaluated based on the developer’s promises and description of the game or should it be evaluated against every other game on the market?
The answer has to lie somewhere in the middle ground. Can you punish a game for being a below average technical effort while being exactly what was promised by the devs and hoped for by gamers?

Game of Thrones: Two Swords Review
Game of Thrones came back with an epic episode on Sunday night to kick off its fourth season and the second of two seasons based on George R. R. Martin’s A Storm of Swords. After the mind-blowing (for people who didn’t read the books) conclusion to last season, there were a lot of plot threads that needed resolving. That’ll take the whole season and has some new storylines added in for good measure.
