Ryu Attacks Taylor Swift at the Grammys, Fails to Silence Her

Street Fighter’s Ryu made a surprise appearance at the Grammys when he attacked Taylor Swift in the middle of her performance. Swift showed impeccable professionalism and continued her song unabated… Much to the world’s chagrin. And this is why I always picked Ken.

At least we got this cool video from Twisted Genre. He wins! Perfect!

Even Norman Reedus is Scared of Zombies

Just because you’re one of the genuine good guys of Hollywood doesn’t mean that you can’t be pranked. Just ask Norman Reedus who was victimized by The Walking Dead co-star Andrew Lincoln and Greg Nicotero, TWD zombie special effects genius, with the help of Nick Santonastasso.

Just because Daryl is a total bad ass doesn’t mean that Norman is ready for the zombie apocalypse.

Captain Picard Sings Let it Snow

Since we’re less than three weeks from Christmas, I thought it was time to get into the spirit of the season. I’ve turned the fake snow on (though you’re probably seeing more than enough outside) and I have a Star Trek: The Next Generation Christmas carol for you. A Christmas classic sung by Patrick Stewart? Make it so!

Assassin’s Creed IV Glitch Causes The Rapture

Given the religious undertones of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, it probably wouldn’t surprise you if the game dealt with The Rapture. However, I didn’t expect it to happen accidentally.

A glitch in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag not only causes the parting of the sea but your ship’s crew to ascend into heaven. Mind you, I’m not sure if that’s a bug or a feature of this game.

Selfie is Oxford Dictionaries’ Word of the Year

I’m not sure whether the latest news out of Oxford is a good thing for technophiles or a sign of the downfall of society and the English language as a whole.

Oxford Dictionaries has named “selfie” as their word of the year for 2013.

The Force is with These Star Wars Bloopers

Better than normal bloopers are the long-lost bloopers of a much-loved film. Recently, some old Star Wars bloopers surfaced on YouTube which shows that not everything went smoothly a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. And we also get to see why stormtroopers struggle so much with their job. Not only can they not see anything in that helmet but they can barely stand up straight.

SC2 Player Celebrates Too Early, Costs Himself the Game

South Korean Protoss player Dear thought he had his GSTL Season 2 match against Symbol won after forcing Symbol’s zerg army to retreat. To celebrate, he busted out what are called “manner nexuses” which are Protoss buildings built to show off how much money the winning player had in reserve in defeating his opponent. It’s considered bad mannered in StarCraft 2

The only problem was that not only was Symbol not defeated but his army supply outnumbered Dear’s by nearly two-to-one when the manner nexuses were dropped. And with most of Dear’s money dropped into a show-off move, the result was inevitable.

Surgery Simulator is Good for a Laugh

Well, I picked up Surgery Simulator 2013 using the money I made from selling those useless trading cards. It was probably a bad decision but I’m stuck with it now. Even if it’s not the best gaming experience ever, it’s certainly good for a laugh.

Star Trek TNG Season Two Gag Reel Features Worf Laughs Galore

The gag reel produced for the Second Season Blu-Ray collection includes a number of highlights including laughs with Lt. Worf, intimate moments with Commander Riker (and his beard), Data having some un-android moments and Captain Picard having trouble with doors. Who doesn’t love a good blooper reel?
