It Begins! The Steam Summer Sale is Go!

steam-summer-sale-2013-headerAs I mentioned yesterday, the annual Steam Summer Sale started today. The first deals went live at 1:00 PM Eastern. There will be the usual collection of 48-hour daily deals, 8-hour flash sales and 8-hour community pick deals. However, good luck buying anything right now. Steam is getting hammered with traffic.

We’ll be keeping tabs on the big sales and dropping PSAs for you to checkout under the Steam Sale link on the top banner.

For now, here are the active daily deals (ending July 13th at 1:00 PM Eastern) and flash sales (ending at 9:00 PM Eastern).

Daily Deals:

  • Bioshock Franchise 50% to 75% off with Infinite for $29.99
  • Endless Space – $10.19 (66% off)
  • Antichamber – $6.79 (66% off)
  • Hotline Miami – $2.49 (75% off)
  • Scribblenauts Unlimited – $4.99 (75% off)
  • Don’t Starve – $8.99 (40% off)
  • Defiance – $13.59 (66% off)
  • Toki Tori 2+ – $9.89 (34% off)
  • Call of Juarez: Gunslinger – $10.04 (33% off)
  • Left 4 Dead Franchise – $4.99 each or $7.49 for both (75% off)

Flash Sales:

  • Counter Strike: Global Offensive – $5.09 (66% off)
  • Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition – $8.99 (70% off)
  • GRID 2 – $29.99 (40% off)
  • The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Edition – $35.99 (40% off)

Just a quick reminder that you probably shouldn’t buy anything until the end of the sale unless it’s a daily deal, flash sale or community pick.

UPDATE: I updated the length of the Daily Deals. The store pages for each game now states that they’re 48-hour deals.
