Game Trailers Roundup for March 10, 2015
At some point in time in the not too distant future, I might get time to start writing again. A while back, I remember seeing a post on /r/games_journalism asking why a bunch of small sites don’t combine forces. I’m starting to think that isn’t such a bad idea.
Anyway, let’s start off your Tuesday with a plethora of video game trailers for you to watch. The usual March lineup of games isn’t as strong as they have been in past years. Of note, there’s Battlefield Hardline and… I’ll get back to you. Along with that, there are a total of eight trailers for you to watch. Not a bad way to start your day.
Game Trailers Roundup for March 3, 2015
I know things have been quiet around here lately but I have a few posts in the works. I might even be able to finish those reviews, news and columns if I can get a bit of time to get some writing in. I’m so busy IRL that I completely didn’t notice that I didn’t schedule this post to go up yesterday. I don’t know how I managed that.
Anyway, if it’s a new week, then it’s time for us to look at recently released video game trailers. There are eight trailers this week with most of them being for the triplest of triple-A games including three from WB Interactive and two from popular JRPG franchises. Yes, this is the sort of post that makes this series worth it.
Game Trailers Roundup for February 23, 2015
Another week, another roundup of all the latest trailers for upcoming games. We have a few launch trailers, including trailers for Resident Evil: Revelations 2, Dragon Ball: Xenoverse and Frozen Cortex (review coming soon). We also have a few teaser trailers for some upcoming triple-As if that’s more your speed.
Game Trailers Roundup for February 17, 2015
If you don’t live in certain parts of Canada, you may not know that yesterday was a statutory holiday. Sure, I was still working at my day job but I took yesterday off from blogging to catch up on some gaming and writing. So let’s start today with a usual Monday post pushed back to Tuesday morning.
To make up for being a day late, we have nine trailers for you to watch today. It’s everything from release and announcement trailers for indie games to updates to major releases.
Game Trailers Roundup for February 9, 2015
When I was putting together today’s trailers roundup, I forgot that I wanted to write about the DLC practices that 2K and Turtle Rock are employing for Evolve. I haven’t seen a new trailer for that game so it’s not in the roundup but I’m hoping that I can write up that column for tomorrow. And then I have to hope that no one hates all the Business Of Gaming posts I’m running but if you did, you wouldn’t have stuck around these parts for very long.
Anyway, today’s roundup is an eclectic sort. We have fighting games, RPGs, strategy, hack-and-slashers. Basically, you name it, we have it. Except for Evolve. But we do have Mortal Kombat X. That has to count for something.
Game Trailers Roundup for February 2, 2015
Anyone catch the big game yesterday? I’m writing this Sunday afternoon before the game so I’m going to give you two intros for today’s Game Trailers Roundup.
If the game was boring: Unlike the Super Bowl, we have some exciting things for you to watch today. We have five trailers for you, including three launch trailers for games that are out now (Dying Light, Grim Fandango and Life is Strange). Maybe you should have flipped on a console rather than watched that game. Or split the difference and play on you Wii U’s GamePad.
If the game was actually exciting: Just like the balls were actually inflated in the Super Bowl, it’s time to inflate your hopes for upcoming video games with today’s roundup. Yeah, that’s a terrible segue but everyone else has done a #Ballghazi joke so why not me too? Anyway, there are five trailers for you to watch today. And none are for that mobile game that used Kate Upton in its Super Bowl ad.
Game Trailers Roundup: January 26, 2015
I hadn’t heard of PAX South until this week but I suppose that if you were a gamer in Texas, having a popular convention in the neighbourhood would be a pretty cool thing. The nearest gaming convention to me is probably PAX East in Boston. Sure, I could do Fan Expo again but gaming is an afterthought there. Well, unless you want to watch vertical slices from Xbox and Ubi.
But thanks to PAX South, we have five trailers for you this week. For the most part, it’s DLC/expansion trailers but we have an announcement trailer for Milestone’s upcoming motorcycle racing game Ride. As a big fan of Tourist Trophy, I’m looking forward to that one.
Game Trailers Roundup: January 19, 2015
There might not be much in the way of big releases this week but that doesn’t mean that we have a shortage of trailers for you to look at this week. Between triple-As, indies, mobile, MMOs and MOBAs, this week’s roundup has ten trailers for you to watch. And who said that this was a quiet time of year for games. Okay, news and actual games, yes. Trailers? Definitely looks like a busy time.
Game Trailers Roundup: January 12, 2015
After a little Christmas and New Year’s break, we’re back with the first game trailers roundup of 2015. Of course, I could have pushed this back another week because new trailers haven’t exactly been plentiful over the last few weeks. However, we have five trailers for some pretty popular games for you to watch today.
Game Trailers Roundup: December 22, 2014
‘Twas the week before Christmas and all throughout the web
Trailers were dropping, even one from the makers of Left 4 Dead.
And that’s as much poetry as you’re going to get out of me. I made it two lines. That’s a hell of a lot better than I did in elementary school English class. Anyway, we have ten trailers for you to watch today. There are DLC trailers, reveal trailers, update trailers and more for you to watch for everything from Final Fantasy XV and Halo 5 to Star Citizen and SPAZ 2. And, yes, there’s one for Evolve too.
