Upcoming Steam Sale Dates Leaked
One of the great challenges of buying games on Steam is juggling the need to play a good game when it’s released with the fact that you can get a game for 33% or more off the launch price if you just hold out a couple of months at the absolute most for the next Steam sale.
For those of you waiting for the next round of deep discounts to add to your Steam library, a recent leak from a Russian-speaking indie developer says that you have to wait just three weeks before the next big sale.
The first sale is the Steam Autumn Sale which will run at the same time as traditional American Thanksgiving/Black Friday sales. It will run from Wednesday, November 27th, to Tuesday, December 3rd. The annual Steam Holiday Sale starts on Thursday, December 19th, and ends on Thursday, January 2nd.
The dates and information on the various promotions during Steam sales are included in the email below.
The leak has been authenticated (sort of) by a user on Reddit claiming to be the Steam page editor on European social network VK.com. He says that the email above came from a Russian indie developer who passed that screenshot above on to him and some other forums.
So you have three weeks to save up before Steam plucks your wallet dry. Get ready.
